The service was excellent. Very fast and courteous. The salad and pizza were delicious, the meat on the salad was still flavorful... everything you'd expect.
Everything was delicious...we were a group of 10 people and had various dishes with appetizers...the service was very friendly, courteous and attentive...overall we were all very satisfied and therefore highly recommend it!
Last week, the four of us had a wonderful meal at the newly opened Klosterschänke. From the appetizer to the dessert, the food was absolutely delicious and the portions were generous. The rump steak, cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu were particularly noteworthy. The other dishes we ordered (bruschetta, caprese salad, grilled salmon, spaghetti con pollo, and panna cotta) were also excellent. Special requests were accommodated as well. The price-performance ratio is more than reasonable. The service was friendly, attentive, and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Klosterschänke and will definitely return on our next visit to relatives in the Eifel region! The new Klosterschänke is a real culinary asset for Steinfeld and the Eifel!
After a wonderful day in Bad Münstereifel, the Steinfelder Klosterschänke was a perfect end to our evening. The service was quick, friendly, and attentive; the food arrived promptly, piping hot, and delicious. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. The perfect finishing touch was the espresso with ice and cream – truly superb. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely evening and the complimentary grappa.
We had some incredibly delicious pizzas here. They were really generously topped (although there were a few too many capers for my taste). Our extra request for toppings like chili, spinach, and mushrooms was promptly and pleasantly fulfilled. They offer small (2 euros cheaper) and large pizzas. They were so delicious, I would definitely choose a large one again. Regarding the prices: 14.50 euros for a Pizza Napoli with anchovies, capers, and lots of cheese. Prosciutto is 13 euros. A small pizza with spinach and mushrooms is 11 euros. Given the rising prices, we found these to be more than fair and don't understand some of the negative reviews.
Good food at fair prices in a beautiful monastery setting! We arrived on a holiday and didn't have a reservation, but they still managed to offer us a table. The pizza and schnitzel (and the beer afterwards) were delicious! A lovely end to our Eifelsteig stage 👍🏻

Very fair prices, honestly. I like that they also offer smaller pizzas. The food is good and tasty, and the menu isn't overwhelming. If you're in the area or visiting the basilica, you should definitely stop by. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious; people in hiking gear and windswept hair are welcome, so you can leave your fine clothes at home. The staff is really quick, super friendly, and your glasses won't stay empty for long. Cash and debit card payments are accepted. I'm happy to leave a tip here and will definitely be back.
